A Los Osos Weekend

Hey-o! So I went to Los Osos over the weekend with my family to meet a family friend and goodness, it was awesome:
Mr. Wilbur (the family friend... obviously) was awesome- he was friendly, made amazing food, and really knows Los Osos! And look at the view from his house...

After dinner, we went to our first of three beaches. This one was made of pebbles (with a little bit of Jade in it!) and the tide was so high... O.O
The kind lady who took our picture said we were photogenic... I like to believe I am not. I'm the one behind the little girl (my sister.) Yep, the shadow. (:

The second beach we went to (The Pismo Beach Pier). This beach had much finer and softer sand and lukewarm  water: OH THE WATER ALSO WIPED AWAY ALL MY SAND DRAWINGS. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
Sunsets (:
My YouTube addiction is very unhealthy. Oh and that's me, the blurry girl. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

So then we went so sleep... deedadoobop.

Then we went to one last beach the next and last day:
Most of the sand was cold and wet. The water was very nice and the day was so warm and lovely.
(Please, no pictures paparazzi.)

Afterwards we went to this beautiful elder ladies house named Ms. Gerarda (I actually don't know how to spell that but nobody needs to know,) and she told us stories about her time in a concentration camp (Semarang is the city where the concentration camp was. My family and I forgot was the exact name was) during World War II and a struggle it was- she slept on the ground even when it was raining, made socks for the Japanese with her mother and sisters, had to cope with watching her friends beaten, and even showed us monochrome photographs of herself, her family, and the places she lived after being released from the Concentration Camp (including parts of Australia, bits of Indonesia, and back to Holland, then America.) She has a wonderful memory- NO JOKE- and my family, Wilbur, and I are so thankful that she shared them with us. Oh, and her family and her were/are also very, very gorgeous. :T

One last stop was this petting zoo where I fed goats and sheep which were adorable and GREEDY. I fed a cow as well and his tongue brushed my finger... gosh, the consistency of it.

I tried to take selfies with the animals but their heads kept twisting this way and that WHICH WASN'T FAIR, because one of the goats stayed completely still for another person.

Sorry for the slightly off quality- Whatsapp really takes it away! (My dad took most of these pictures.) Thank you mom and dad. <4

Also thank you Wilbur for this spectacular weekend. My family and I hope to see you again soon! (:

Hope you enjoyed this blogpost and I'll see you later! xx.
